Job RequirementsRole: Technical Program Manager (Digital and Software)Role Purpose:Technical Program manager is responsible for the successful delivery of the program. He/she needs to engage with client to understand technical needs, work with client to define scope of work, work on to Technical response for RFQ , coordinates with all of the program's project teams and works with stakeholders (Delivery team, Sales, Quest Global Leadership, Enablers etc) to meet their strategic interests.Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To lead a program of 50+ engineers and deliver multiple projects of required quality on time from both program management, project management and technical perspective.
  • B.Tech/BE in Electrical/ Electronics/Telecommunication/Computer Science with 12+ years of hands on experience in End to End Enterprise/Application software development
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills.
  • Prepare RFQ/RFP responses, work closely with Subject Matter experts, cross functional teams to evolve solutions specific to the RFQ/RFP.
  • Work closely with team to guide and help resolve technical issues / risks in the project.
  • Business Excellence aspects- Revenue, CM, Quest Global Branding, Resource Management & Utilization, Cost Optimization.
  • Plan the manpower, material and financial requirement for the domain/service for optimum Resource Management & Cost Optimization.
  • Build and maintain existing customer relationships in the domain/service and leverage it to acquire more projects for the domain/Delivery Led Growth.
  • Liaise with Technical stream to build competence of team members in the domain/service by creating platforms to share knowledge and implementing new technology.
  • Adhere to QMS, Customer specific processes, specifications and standards
  • Appraise, coach and develop teams to improve their skills in the technical area and deliver projects better and faster
  • Superior Program management to deliver all projects to success
  • Plan the manpower, material and financial requirement for the domain/service and co-ordinate with Talent Acquisition Team, HR and Finance for acquiring them
  • Build and maintain existing customer relationships in the domain/service and leverage it to acquire more projects for the domain
  • Build competence of team members in the domain/service by creating platforms to share knowledge and implementing new technology.
  • Nominate subordinates for training programs in accordance with their development plans.
  • Responsible for project & people management aspects of the Project
  • Manage Operational Excellence of the projects (Applied Ratio, Yield, On Time Recruitment, MMR, Attrition Management).
  • Review, Monitor delivery excellence aspects of the program/projects.
Work ExperienceRequired Skills (Technical Competency):Proven technical skills in some of the following
  • Production grade development, testing and maintenance of web/desktop/mobile applications for industrial users
  • Exposure to usage of embedded technologies in Rail/Aero/Auto or Industrial domains
  • Applications performance management and performance enhancement
  • Cloud infrastructure integration for application launch
  • Cloud migration
  • IOT based application deployments
  • AI/ML rollout Cloude or Edge device
Required Skills (Program Management Competency):
  • Expertise in coordinating and executing all the activities related to successful delivery of project (end to end).
  • The desired skills set includes -
  • Experience in project management including Agile and contemporary methodologies and associated tool chains and Microsoft Project plan
  • Experience in proposals, estimation of size, effort, cost and schedule
  • Collaborate with technical managers to ensure project quality and first time right
  • Ability to proactively Manage own work to achieve project objectives
  • Demonstrate customer centricity
  • Demonstrate a can do attitude and lead by the example
  • Expertise in SDLC Processes
  • Management of project scope, schedule and associated risk
  • Strong governance: periodic program status and health reporting to all relevant stakeholders
  • Exposure in earned value management
  • Experience in handling multiple projects that includes Development & Functional Teams
  • Delivery focus: ensure tasks are delivered per defined schedule
  • Amicably handle customer escalations (if any)
  • Responsible for Talent planning and Deployment across projects for new opportunities and backfills, ensure bench is reduced with increase in Volume.
  • Client interaction for new enhancements and business opportunities,
  • Talent utilization and bench reduction, creating and reviewing Statement of Work (SoW), Request for Proposal (RFP), Project budgeting and manage incremental business and volume growth of the Account.
  • Contribute to Innovation and ideas as a value adds to the customer.
  • Liaising with internal & external stakeholders, global clients for devising, implementing and operationalizing project-based delivery model for all products to meet organizational objective.
  • Handling Project finances, burn down, staffing, Quarterly forecast on Revenue and Margins and analyse v/s actuals.
  • Responsible for clients Relationship Management, Account delivery Management, Employee engagement, Appraisals, CSAT, ESAT
  • Experience in building client relationship, overseeing various client engagements, achieving top line as well as bottom line targets.
  • Adhere to QMS, Customer specific processes, standards and specifications during project tasks delivery
  • Support preparation of quotations and proposals for customers
  • Operational Excellence of the Projects and Team: Applied Ratio/ Yield, On time Recruitment, Attrition Management, MMR, Workload Planning
  • Project performance - Effective Project estimation, planning and tracking
  • Resource allocation and optimization (People + Infrastructure)
  • Compliance to Quality Management Systems
  • Adhering to Quest Global policies and processes
  • Liaise with Technical stream for competency up gradation, training plans; Coaching & mentoring; Career planning for self and team members
  • Participate in Knowledge base building, technical communities within Quest Global
  • Performance management including promotions
  • Project lifecycle management (initiation to closure) including Project health tracking and reporting of larger projects, tasks or modules. Manage Fixed Bid projects
  • Take action on Negative CSAT projects, initiate actions based on the findings of RCA; Initiate continual improvements
  • Pre-Sales / Proposal Support / Customer presentations
  • Present weekly health of projects to customer
  • Liaising with account manager
  • Desired Technical Skills:
  • Understanding of Embedded C++, Java, Web Application Angular, Mobility React, Ionic, Microservices based solution are good to have
  • Cloud based Architecture, Test Automation tools Selenium, Cucumber, AI/ML
