Responsibilities:
Release Manager The ROLE:


Technical program manager role is responsible for leading program level BIOS deliverables and related dependencies, ensuring firmware dedication delivery on schedule for next generation AMD Server products.





The candidate:


The ideal candidate has been responsible for the delivery of programs from Concept through Customer Ship, working with large, matrixed teams to plan and execute system level products. You will understand the technical challenges in the interaction of silicon, software and board elements on next generation computing system solutions. You are energized by working in a fast-paced technical organization across multiple sites, with multifaceted product requirements.

Responsibilities:



• Responsible for build/release management for multiple Server products : build processes, build monitoring, break/fix management through end of life
• Coordinate a stable and reliable weekly & PI BIOS
• Liaise & provide status reports on firmware readiness & status.
• Work closely with team of Developers, FW engineers, automation team and Project Managers to meet firmware engineering build and release requirements
• Partner with FW developers and use various scripting languages to build software from scratch upload to artifacts
• Have a strong understanding of source code management, build/release engineering related tools/concepts
• Be proficient in system administration, configuration, customization and maintenance of Atlassian tools: Jira/Confluence
• Initiates significant changes to existing processes and methods to improve project and team efficiencies
• Release Notes management





Requirements:



• Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen. Aligned to our core values
• Excellent in verbal and written communication and presentation
• Experienced in Tools/Technologies (admin level knowledge preferred): GIT/Jenkins/Gerrit
• Skilled in MS Office & MS Project tool suites, Confluence, MS SharePoint
• A professional 5-7 years' experience in build/release management: build processes, build monitoring, break/fix management

Academic Credentials:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in electrical, computer engineering, or computer science strongly preferred

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering
• Formal project management education, PMP / Scrum Master
