The Firmwide Regulatory Reporting & Analysis (FRRA) team is responsible for the design, implementation and execution of end-to-end processes supporting U.S. Regulatory Reporting including Consolidated, Capital, Standalone and CCAR/DFAST/ICAAP reporting (also included in scope, is International Regulatory Reporting for select locations in APAC/EMEA/UK/LATAM regions), Regulatory Reporting training and exam management. Additionally, FRRA drives broader strategic initiatives across external reporting including accountability, error and issue management, manual adjustments, variance analysis, quality assurance and the target U.S. Regulatory Reporting platform.

Job Responsibilities :

The FRRA Technology & Innovation Strategy team is responsible for the delivery of applications and tools that enable data management, controls, data modelling, data aggregation, analytics, and reporting. The Project Management Associate\'s primary responsibility will be working on the build out and modernization of applications and services utilized for external reporting that align to critical firm-wide initiatives in a product owner/scrum master capacity. The Associate will partner with users, architecture and technology teams delivering within an agile framework responsible for managing the prioritized backlog to ensure the team is always maximizing delivery value against the firm\'s & FRRA goals.

As part of the FRRA Technology & Innovation Strategy team you will have a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Work with lines of business & key stakeholders to understand their products, how data is captured, and how to strategically source data into a cloud based big data architecture
  • Execute on project deliverables, including business requirements, testing, operating model assessments, and implementation
  • Ensure the end-to-end SDLC lifecycle is agreed and followed, from requirements gathering to grooming to development to testing and deployment
  • Provide regular updates to supervisor and stakeholders
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, with knowledge and experience of traditional credit and trading products (e.g., loans, deposits, cash, trading assets/liabilities, derivatives, securities, long term debt)
  • Bachelor\'s degree
  • Knowledge of data & business intelligence concepts including ETL, data modeling, report automation, and/or dashboarding
  • Skills and experience interacting with data including using SQL to query
  • Highly disciplined, self-motivated, delivery-focused individual who can work in a high pressure & fast-paced environment
  • Ability to quickly learn and assimilate business and technical knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • PMP certification a plus
  • Experience with Agile delivery, JIRA and Confluence is preferred
  • Professional experience as a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst preferred
