Caring with Colour - A Manasi Kirloskar Initiative (CWC) is a non-profit organization in India working towards improving the quality of education in Government Schools by enabling teachers to adopt an experiential teaching methodology in their classrooms as envisaged by the educational policies like NEP 2020 and NCF 2005. Towards this end, CWC has developed a teacher support system that includes experiential teaching content based on NCERT Curriculum, and an experiential teacher training system coupled with a technology platform called 'Teachopia' that can enable and empower teachers to effectively adopt "Experiential Teaching Techniques" inside their classrooms.

The following are key attributes in the candidates we are looking to hire for Program Coordinator - Teaching Learning Enhancement Program (TLEP)

- Passionate about education sector and willing to explore new ideas to improve teaching-learning and bring remarkable changes in the quality of education in the District / Block / Cluster

- A facilitator who connects different stakeholders of government school ecosystem, align them for the common mission of Education transformation at different levels

- A team player to coordinate with team of Teacher mentors and work in alignment with the Program Manager

- One who be a change agent for transforming government schools by advocating new techniques and strategies

- One with effective communication skills in Kannada and English, good self-awareness, and emotional intelligence

- One with excellent analytical, documentation and reporting skills

Purpose:

The primary role of this position is to anchor and coordinate implementation of Teaching Learning Enhancement Program by successfully collaborating with the educational institutions and functionaries at District / Block, Cluster level and School level

Key Responsibilities:

? Co-ordinate with District / Block / Cluster level functionaries and for planning, implementation, monitoring, review, and assessment of initiatives taken up by CWC as part of Teaching Learning Enhancement Program - by taking up the role of a SPOC

? Lead the team of CWC's teacher mentors to effectively run the TLEP across all the schools where the program is established.

? Represent the organization at various levels of the education department in the District / Block and establish strong working relationship with the stakeholders at all levels.

? Assume the leadership & ownership of all the initiatives of CWC towards achieving the goals of Teaching Learning Enhancement Program

? Contribute in providing the ground level requirements and perspectives of the stakeholders / beneficiaries to the design team for designing the need based training modules

? Organize / Facilitate / Co-facilitate relevant sessions required for the Block & Cluster level functionaries and education functionaries.

? Conduct all the team level processes on time - such as Monthly and weekly schedules, weekly progress reviews, daily updates of activities of the team, presentation to CWC leadership teams, troubleshooting day to day operational issues of the team, capacity building of team,

? Monitor the usage of Teachopia content, extent of experiential teaching & other parameters by organising regular review meetings scheduled along with the Department.

? Work with the funding partner by having regular meetings to update, review and appraise them from time to time.

? Take part in capacity enhancement training programs and orientations conducted by CWC to its staff members from time to time

? Ensure that the project documentation is done diligently and all reports to the donor organizations are submitted on time (program reports, monthly quarterly reports and interim review reports). Contribute to improving the social media presence of the organization.

? Any other responsibilities allocated by the organization from time to time

Reports to

Report to the Program Implementation Manager of CWC and work under his guidance and support on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

- Strong communicator who can build strong working relationships for the organization that are based on trust and collaboration

- Strong Academic Background - Master's in Science / Education / English / Economics / Sociology

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Education is preferable (not mandatory)

- Strong Program Management Background - 3-4 years of solid working knowledge and skill of implementing Block level educational programs

- Passion for Education and social change and Willingness to learn & work in Govt School space

- Good communication skills in both Kannada and English are mandatory.

- Being sensible and reflective.

- Ability to collaborate with Officers of the education dept, partner NGOs, funding partners and internal team members towards attainment of both individual and collective team goals.

- Should be a good team player. Work with team of Teacher mentors

of CWC deputed for the program

- Strong analytical skills. Solid working knowledge of tools like Excel, Power point, word etc is a must. Skill of using networks, apps is essential

- Documentation skills in both Kannada and English is essential

Ability to Travel extensively to different blocks / clusters and schools is mandatory.

Salary

CWC pays salaries that are competitive to the development sector. Salary offered will be commensurate with experience and skills of the candidate.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ?10,074.58 - ?43,816.58 per month
