Background Foundation for Reproductive Health Services India (FRHS India) is a registered not-for-profit organization operating since 2009. FRHS India is an affiliate of MSI Reproductive Choices (MSI), a global organization providing personalized contraception and safe abortion services to women and girls. We provide quality family planning and safe and legal abortion services to women in need, through multiple channels that comprise of our own clinics, clinical outreach teams and public sector support to Government facilities. We are currently working in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh in Public Private Partnership with state governments. In 2022, our teams directly provided family planning choices and quality services to over 179,239 clients that delivered a Couple Year Protection (CYP) of over 2.17 million. A large number of women in India are unable to exercise their sexual and reproductive rights due a number of barriers \xe2\x80\x93 social, cultural, policy, and access to information and services. Thus, we work in partnership with stakeholders to improve the policy environment towards enabling women to exercise their reproductive rights and choices. FRHS India also implements advocacy projects to advance sexual and reproductive rights in the country. Job Summary The incumbent will be primarily responsible for program planning, implementation and monitoring of Family Planning projects in the assigned districts of Bihar. A professional, friendly attitude and effective communication and Team monitoring, and management skills are the keys to becoming successful in this role. He/she will supervise the Program executives and FDS Coordinators of the assigned districts and will work closely with clinical outreach Teams (COT) operating in the districts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProgram operations
Ensure adequate number of ASHA/ ANM Training planned and organized by regular and close interactions with the health officials.
Selection of school and collages where orientation on AFHS will be planned and organized.
Ensure to plan and organize orientation for adolescents and young people in selected schools and colleges.
Liasoning with private colleges and universities, likeminded development organizations to push our AFHS activities.
Ensure all the orientations/ training activities are managed as per the guidelines. Ensure the availability of required amenities, stationery, IT support & supplies etc. for effective management of orientation/ Training program.
Ensure streamlining of operations for Tele health call center, FLWs orientations: Make a monthly plan for demand generation activities for achieving the targeted clients. Implement the route plan for training teams as per directions of Assistant Manager-Operations and work in close connection with the Program Executives/Block Coordinators/Interpersonal Communicator/Counsellors to achieve the desired results.
Facilitate training at districts, Block and sector level. Minimum 10-15 orientation / Training & meetings.
Carry out a minimum of 5 visits to district govt. offices to plan and report our achievement.
Regular tracking of planned activities and desired ELA and share with district team members.
Plan mobilization activities to raise awareness on AFHS clinic and Tele health Call Center.
Formation of peer educator network in six districts of Rajasthan: Jaipur, Ajmer, Banswara, Kota, Alwar and Udaipur.
Organize and facilitate peer educator meeting regularly at AFHS Clinic.
Support to all functions of AFHS clinic and tele health call center.
Support to COT, Clinic and PSS program and other functions of the organization.
Financial Management:
Compilation of project expenses report fortnightly and submitted to finance department.
Make sure the availability and transfer of advance to district team.
Verification of all projects related expenses.
Liaison and maintain relations with government officials and develop partnerships at District level.
Liaising and maintaining public relations with Govt. officials: Develop relationships and maintain communication with district level government officials, health workers and other professionals to attain the goals of FRHS India Program.
Developing partnership with local NGOs, CBOs and private service providers, school, collages, private & govt. universities : To meet the local NGOs / CBOs/Referral hospital and partner with private providers as per FRHS India guidelines.
Reporting and Documentation
Document of all training / meeting / orientation plan. Online reporting of each activity of the project.
Detail quarterly report need to be prepared and submitted to state and HO.
Lead the district level monthly meetings and ensure all the programmatic and clinic issues are discussed and properly documented.
Ensure monthly plan for the entire team is well documented and shared with the Assistant Manager- Operations.
Ensure correct and timely filling of daily tracking sheet.
Responsible for ensuring proper maintenance of all stocks- IEC, consumables.
Responsible for physical count of all IEC stocks and submission of monthly report
Ensure correct and timely filling of daily tracking sheet.
Ensure timely submission of cash flows and expense reports to the state.
Handle interpersonal conflicts within the team effectively.
Documenting and disseminating all key challenges and lessons learned: Review all monitoring documents received from Counselling staff and prepare monthly report and submit to Assistant Manager-Operations.
Supervise and monitor all program staff and guide them to perform to their best.
Qualification and Experience
Post graduation/MSW / MPH
4-6 years of experience in healthcare sector.
Worked on various healthcare projects at the district level.
Knowledge of Family planning (FP) services (desirable).
Working experience at field level.
Skills and Competencies
Good interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
