The AMZL OTR Capacity Planning team at Amazon India is hiring for Program Analyst position. We are looking for a candidate with strong performance record and experience. AMZL OTR Capacity Planning team comprising of a short-term resource planners for Out-on-road last mile delivery stations. Aim is to optimize cost, reduce operator cognitive load , increase planning accuracy & automate processes.The candidate is expected to :
a) be analytical and be able to justify decisions and approaches with data
b) be able to deal with a high degree of ambiguity
c) be able to take a complex problem and break it down to smaller digestible chunks
d) be able to define a logical and step by step approach to achieving a lofty goal
e) be comfortable with processes and process design/analysis
f) be able to deal with varied stakeholders and earn their trust.
g) develop a good understanding of Network & Supply chain with hands on experience on SQLCandidate must know and love working with business intelligence tools, be comfortable accessing and working with big data from multiple sources, and enthusiastic about partnering with the business to deliver results. They would be self-starters, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. They must demonstrate a high bar on Bias for Action, Deep Dive, Learn and Be Curious, Insist on highest standards and OwnershipKey Job Responsibilities:
xc2xb7 Set up robust processes to drive improvement projects with an objective to maximize the consumer experience
xc2xb7 Identify, plan and execute automation projects within the team.
xc2xb7 Create and work on big data using SQL, Amazon S3, Quick sight to provide actionable insights, dashboards, automate systems using Python scripts and macros
xc2xb7 Support the business growth in constrained environments with frugal and innovative solutions
xc2xb7 Make the existing processes scalable by identifying and implementing available tools/automation
xc2xb7 Rollout standardization of tools and processes to minimize end to end supply chain losses & figure out Plan v/s Actual gaps, bridges and waterfalls
xc2xb7 Utilize exceptional problem-solving and communication skills to influence business, operations and technical audiencesWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Bengaluru, KA, INDBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of SQL/Python/R, scripting, MS Excel, table joins, aggregate analytical functions & data mining
- Engineering graduatePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in SQL, Data visualization and advanced excelBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
