The Professor, Department of Microbiology will play a critical role in fulfilling JKKN Dental College and Hospital's vision to be a leading global innovative solutions provider for the ever changing needs of the society. They will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, and conducting research in the field of microbiology, and will be expected to be a leader in their field and a contributing member of the college and department.


Responsibilities:

• Teach and mentor students in the field of microbiology
• Conduct independent and collaborative research in the field of microbiology
• Publish research findings in leading scientific journals
• Participate in conferences, workshops, and other academic events
• Lead the development of the department and college through service and administrative work
• Mentor and supervise junior faculty members
• Contribute to the development and implementation of department and college policies and strategies

Qualifications:

• PhD in Microbiology or a related field
• A minimum of 10 years of experience teaching and conducting research in the field of microbiology
• Strong publication record in leading scientific journals
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience
