Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Professor of Paediatrics to join our distinguished faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in paediatric healthcare, a passion for teaching, and an active involvement in research. As a Professor, you will be responsible for educating medical students, residents, and fellows while also participating in paediatric patient care and research activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in paediatric medicine.
• Deliver clinical lectures, seminars, and bedside teaching in paediatrics.
• Develop and update the curriculum for paediatric education in line with modern advancements in the field.
• Conduct and publish research in paediatric healthcare, contributing to the institution's academic output.
• Oversee paediatric clinical services and provide expert care for newborns, children, and adolescents.
• Mentor students and junior doctors in academic and clinical settings.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure multidisciplinary learning and comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• MD in Paediatrics from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of teaching experience in a reputed medical institution, with proven clinical expertise in paediatric healthcare.
• Strong research background with publications in national or international peer-reviewed journals.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Experience in supervising postgraduate research and thesis work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD or advanced qualifications in paediatric medicine or related fields.
• Expertise in neonatology, paediatric critical care, or subspecialties.
• Experience in developing academic programs and curricula.
