Medical College, Solan, Himachal Pradesh is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor in Orthopaedics to join our prestigious institution. The candidate will be responsible for teaching, clinical duties, research, and administrative responsibilities within the Orthopaedics Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert teaching and mentorship to undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate students in Orthopaedics.
• Oversee and conduct clinical rounds, patient care, and surgical procedures in the Orthopaedics department.
• Lead departmental academic activities, including lectures, seminars, and research presentations.
• Guide and supervise junior faculty, residents, and interns.
• Participate in curriculum development and review for the Orthopaedics program.
• Contribute to cutting-edge research and publications in the field of Orthopaedics.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other departments to enhance patient care.
• Ensure compliance with medical education standards and regulatory bodies (MCI/NMC guidelines).
• Take part in medical conferences, CME programs, and workshops to stay updated on advancements in the field.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: MBBS with MS/DNB in Orthopaedics from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of teaching and clinical experience in Orthopaedics, with at least 4-5 years in a Senior Faculty position (Associate Professor or higher).
• Research Credentials: Proven track record of academic publications and research in peer-reviewed journals.
• Registration: Must be registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the State Medical Council.
• Administrative Skills: Experience in leading a department or division, with an understanding of medical college administration.
