Job Overview:

We seek highly motivated and qualified " Women " to join our esteemed institution as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic excellence of our Computer Science department, engaging in research, teaching, and mentorship activities. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in computer science, relevant teaching experience, and a commitment to advancing knowledge in the field.

We expect candidates from Pondicherry and surroundings only.

Responsibilities:

Teaching: Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate-level courses in computer science. Facilitate engaging and effective classroom discussions. Provide mentorship to students, fostering a conducive learning environment.

Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the computer science curriculum. Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to ensure relevance.

Advising: Advise and mentor students on academic and career-related matters. Supervise graduate students in research projects and theses.

Service: Participate in departmental meetings and committees.
Contribute to the academic community through service activities.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: A minimum of an M.Phil . in Computer Science or a closely related field is required.

Teaching Experience: We do hire freshers with a teaching skill, Candidates with previous teaching experience has added advantage.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse student populations.

Skills and Knowledge: Strong programming skills and proficiency in relevant programming languages. In-depth knowledge of computer science theories, algorithms, and methodologies.

Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate with colleagues and industry partners.
