Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Typesetter to specialize in book alignment . In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the precise alignment, formatting, and layout of book manuscripts, ensuring consistency and readability for both print and digital formats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Text Alignment : Set margins, line spacing, and text flow for consistent alignment throughout the book.
• Typography : Maintain uniformity in font styles, headings, and body text.
• Proofing : Review proofs for alignment issues, making adjustments to ensure visual appeal and readability.
• Collaboration : Work with editors and designers to align text with images, tables, and other elements.
• File Preparation : Format final files for print and digital distribution (PDF, EPUB).

Required Qualifications:

• Experience : Proven typesetting experience, specifically in book layout and alignment.
• Skills : Proficiency in Adobe InDesign or similar software, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of print and digital publishing formats.
