The Production Supervisor for Snacks & Namkeen will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production line in a food manufacturing facility.
This role involves managing a team of operators and workers, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
The Production Supervisor will also be responsible for monitoring the production process, troubleshooting issues, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.

Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a production supervisory role within the snack or Namkeen manufacturing industry.
Familiarity with snack production processes (e.g., frying, baking, seasoning, packaging) and machinery.
Experience in managing teams and improving operational efficiencies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise the production of snacks and Namkeen products, ensuring all processes are carried out according to planned schedules.
Monitor and control production output to meet target volumes and product specifications.
Oversee the smooth operation of machines and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Coordinate the flow of materials, ingredients, and supplies to avoid production delays.
Implement corrective actions in case of deviations from quality standards, and collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and use of raw materials to maintain product consistency and quality.
Supervise and lead a team of production workers, machine operators, and assistants.
Assign tasks, monitor work progress, and provide guidance or support where needed.
Conduct training sessions for new employees on production procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Perform regular performance reviews and provide feedback for continuous employee development.
Maintain proper documentation related to safety, machine maintenance, and product quality.
Identify and resolve any potential safety hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
Continuously monitor the production process to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime.
Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to address recurring production issues.
Maintain accurate production records, including daily output, inventory usage, machine downtime, and other key performance indicators.
Prepare and submit regular reports to the Production Manager or Plant Manager regarding production performance, challenges, and accomplishments.
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Production Management, or a related field (preferred). Certification in Food Safety (e.g., HACCP, FSSC 22000) is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of food safety, quality control, and regulatory requirements in food production.
Knowledge of production machinery, equipment troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office tools.
Working Conditions:
• Full-time, typically Monday to Saturday, with the possibility of overtime depending on production requirements.
• Work may require standing for extended periods and some lifting (up to 25-30 kg).
• The role involves exposure to food production environments, which may include hot, noisy, or humid conditions.
