Job Overview:

The Production Supervisor in Stitching is responsible for overseeing the stitching department, ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and managing a team of stitching operators. This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage both production schedules and worker performance to meet organizational goals.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education : 10+2 with diploma or equivalent; a technical certification in textile manufacturing or a related field is an advantage.
• Experience : At least 5 years of experience in an orthopaedic products stitching or garment production industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Knowledge :

In-depth knowledge of stitching techniques, sewing machines, and production processes.

• Understanding of quality control practices in stitching and garment production.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and regulatory compliance in manufacturing environments.
• Skills :
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Proficient in using production software and tracking tools.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to monitor and improve processes.
