Sun Stellar Venture Pvt. Ltd.. is looking for A Sheet Metal Fabrication Industries Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a sheet metal fabrication production line, ensuring efficient production of high-quality components by assigning tasks, monitoring quality control, managing workflow, and maintaining safety standards while adhering to production schedules and customer specifications, often requiring a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, blueprint reading, and quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning and Scheduling:

Develop and manage production schedules based on customer orders and material availability. Allocate tasks to production personnel across different shifts to meet production targets. Monitor workflow to identify and address potential bottlenecks.

Quality Control:

Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process to ensure compliance with specifications. Identify and address quality issues promptly, collaborating with the quality control department. Implement corrective actions to prevent recurring quality problems.

Team Management:

Supervise and motivate a team of sheet metal fabricators, including assigning tasks, providing training, and performance evaluations. Address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues. Foster a culture of safety and adherence to company policies.

Technical Expertise:

Thorough understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes like laser cutting, bending, punching, and welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production. Knowledge of material handling and inventory management practices.

Equipment Maintenance:

Monitor the condition of production machinery and report any maintenance needs. Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure timely repairs and preventative maintenance

Reporting and Analysis:

Track production metrics such as output, scrap rates, and cycle times. Generate reports on production performance and identify areas for improvement. Analyze data to identify trends and implement process optimization strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication processes, including knowledge of different cutting and bending techniques.

Leadership Skills:

Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Capacity to identify and resolve production issues efficiently.

Quality Focus:

Strong commitment to maintaining high quality standards.

Communication Skills:

Clear and concise communication with team members, management, and customers.

Computer Proficiency:

Familiarity with production management software and data analysis tools.
