Production Supervisor
Job Description
• Managing staff This includes scheduling shifts, training new hires, and motivating employees
• Ensuring safety This includes overseeing the safe use of equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Monitoring production This includes monitoring production efficiency, verifying production output, and troubleshooting issues
• Supervising quality This includes supervising product quality and ensuring that products are identified, weighed, and warehoused correctly
• Planning and developing This includes planning and developing new products and production processes
• Collaborating This includes collaborating with other departments to optimize production processes
• Reporting This includes preparing reports on performance and progress and presenting them to senior managers
• Resolving issues This includes conferring with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances
