Production Supervisor

Job Overview:

A Production Worker is responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality goods. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise Production Team:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production workers to ensure they meet production goals and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Plan and Schedule:

Coordinate production schedules, allocate resources, and ensure that all shifts are adequately staffed.

Monitor Performance:

Track production metrics, analyze performance data, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Ensure Quality:

Oversee quality control processes to ensure that products meet company and industry standards. Address any quality issues promptly.

Enforce Safety:

Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, conduct safety training, and address any safety concerns immediately.

Problem-Solving:

Identify and resolve production issues, including machinery malfunctions, workflow disruptions, and staffing challenges.

Communication:

Act as a liaison between production workers and upper management, conveying information about production schedules, goals, and changes.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of production output, materials used, and any incidents. Prepare reports for management as required.

Training and Development:

Provide training and development opportunities for production workers to enhance their skills and improve productivity.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.

Budget Management:

Assist in managing production budgets and controlling costs related to labor, materials, and equipment.

Qualifications:

Education:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

1 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
