POSITION: EVSE Production Supervisor : Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as an EVSE Production Supervisor. This role is responsible for overseeing the production process of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE), ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, team leadership, and a commitment to excellence in production management. Responsibilities:
  • Production Management:
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise the daily activities of the EVSE production team to meet production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
  • Implement production schedules, resource allocation plans, and workflow procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor production metrics, such as yield, cycle time, and defect rates, and implement corrective actions as needed to improve performance.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and standards throughout the production process, including incoming materials inspection, in-process testing, and final product validation.
  • Conduct regular quality audits, identify root causes of defects or non-conformances, and implement corrective and preventive measures to address issues.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the production team, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations, procedures, and protocols.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard assessments, and training sessions to minimize workplace accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to production team members, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set performance goals, and provide regular feedback and coaching to support the professional growth and development of team members.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and productivity improvement within the production workflow.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen, to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Collaborate with procurement and inventory control teams to ensure adequate supply of materials, components, and consumables for production activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track material usage, and coordinate with suppliers to address any shortages or delays in material delivery.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management principles, and production control techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Experience with implementing and sustaining continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing operations.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve production performance.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, ERP/MRP systems, and production planning software.
