JOB TITLE : Production supervisor

LOCATION : Baran , Rajasthan

JOB SUMMARY :

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production line or manufacturing process. This role ensures that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. The Production Supervisor leads a team of operators or technicians, manages resources, and monitors the production process to ensure smooth workflow. They are also responsible for troubleshooting issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and continuously improving production methods to meet the company's objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Supervision of Production Staff : Oversee a team of production workers, ensuring they follow established procedures, work efficiently, and maintain quality standards. Provide training, guidance, and motivation to the team.
• Production Planning & Scheduling : Ensure the production schedule is adhered to, coordinate with the production planning team to allocate resources, and resolve any issues related to production timelines or staffing.
• Quality Control : Ensure that all products meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements. Work closely with the quality control team to address any defects or issues that arise during the production process.
• Resource Management : Monitor the use of raw materials, tools, and machinery, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving : Address production issues that may arise, such as equipment malfunctions or delays, and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
• Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are strictly followed. Conduct regular safety checks and maintain a safe working environment for the team.
• Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions in the production workflow. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Documentation & Reporting : Maintain accurate production records, including output levels, machine downtime, and material usage. Prepare and submit regular production reports to management.
• Collaboration : Communicate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, quality control, and logistics) to ensure the smooth flow of production activities and timely delivery of products.
• Performance Monitoring : Track and evaluate production performance, identifying areas for improvement, and set performance goals for the team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
