Job Role :

1. Production Scheduling and Planning

Develop production schedules : Create detailed and realistic production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, raw material availability, and capacity constraints.

Align with demand forecasting : Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align production plans with forecasted demand, taking into account seasonal fluctuations, customer orders, and market trends.

Optimize production flow : Plan production activities to minimize downtime, reduce bottlenecks, and ensure an efficient production process.

Adjust schedules : Revise production schedules as necessary to accommodate unexpected changes, such as supply chain delays, machine breakdowns, or urgent customer orders.

2. Resource Allocation and Capacity Management

Ensure resource availability : Ensure that the necessary raw materials, machinery, equipment, and labor are available for production runs, and allocate resources effectively.

Capacity planning : Analyze production capacity, identify potential constraints, and propose solutions to optimize machine and labor utilization. Balance workload across various departments and shifts to meet production goals.

Machine maintenance scheduling : Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule preventive maintenance and avoid disruptions to production timelines.

Shift planning : Coordinate workforce schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels based on production needs.

3. Material Management and Inventory Control

Monitor raw material levels : Collaborate with the procurement and inventory teams to ensure that raw materials (e.g., synthetic fibers, resins, etc.) are available in the right quantities and on time for production.

Manage work-in-progress (WIP) : Track WIP inventory to ensure that production flows smoothly and that unfinished goods are efficiently processed to finished products.

Inventory forecasting : Work with the procurement team to forecast inventory needs, ensuring that there is no overstock or understock of critical raw materials.

Optimize material usage : Minimize material waste and maximize the efficient use of raw materials, especially in a process-driven industry like synthetic rope manufacturing.

4. Quality Control Coordination

Coordinate with the quality control (QC) team : Work closely with the QC team to ensure that raw materials and finished products meet the required quality standards.

Implement quality standards : Ensure that quality checks are integrated into the production process at the right stages to prevent defects and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., tensile strength, UV resistance, etc.).

Manage product testing and validation : Ensure that samples of synthetic rope products undergo necessary tests (strength, durability, etc.) and that any issues are addressed before the products are shipped to customers.

5. Production Monitoring and Reporting

Track production performance : Continuously monitor production activities to ensure that the manufacturing process is on track. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production efficiency, cycle time, downtime, and scrap rates.

Analyze and report on production data : Provide regular reports to senior management regarding production progress, output, delays, quality issues, and resource utilization.

Problem-solving and troubleshooting : Address production-related issues that may arise, such as machinery breakdowns, quality concerns, or material shortages, and find quick solutions to minimize disruption.

Post-production analysis : Analyze post-production data to assess whether production targets and deadlines were met, and identify areas for improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
