We are hiring Production Officer in the machinery product industry plays a critical role in overseeing the production process, ensuring that machinery products are manufactured efficiently, meet quality standards, and are delivered on time. This role typically combines elements of operations management, quality control, supply chain coordination, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Production Planning and Scheduling
Production Planning: Develop production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and machine availability.
Capacity Planning: Ensure that production facilities and resources (labor, equipment, raw materials) are adequately allocated to meet production goals.
Shift Scheduling: Organize and manage shifts to ensure continuous operation while considering workforce availability, machine uptime, and workload.
2. Process Management and Improvement
Process Optimization: Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or waste and implement solutions to improve productivity.
Lean Manufacturing: Apply principles of lean manufacturing, such as 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain), Six Sigma, and Kaizen, to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
Production Flow: Ensure that the flow of materials, components, and finished products is smooth, timely, and cost-effective.
3. Quality Control and Assurance
Quality Standards: Ensure that the machinery products meet internal and external quality standards and specifications.
Inspection and Testing: Oversee regular inspections, testing, and quality checks throughout the production process, from raw material input to final product output.
Troubleshooting: Address issues with machinery defects or faulty production processes and ensure corrective actions are taken.
4. Inventory and Materials Management
Material Procurement: Work closely with procurement teams to ensure that raw materials and components are available for production and at the right time.
Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods. Ensure that inventory is managed to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
5. Machine and Equipment Maintenance
Preventive Maintenance: Oversee regular machine maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal machine performance.
Troubleshooting: Work with the maintenance team to address and resolve machine failures, minimizing downtime and improving machine reliability.
Equipment Calibration: Ensure that machinery and equipment are correctly calibrated and functioning according to required standards.
6. Team Management and Training
Team Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of production workers, operators, and technicians, ensuring that they are motivated, focused, and meet production targets.
Training and Development: Provide training to new and existing employees on operating machinery, safety standards, quality control processes, and production procedures.
Performance Monitoring: Track the performance of the production team, conduct regular reviews, and provide feedback to improve output and efficiency.
7. Health, Safety, and Compliance
Safety Standards: Enforce workplace safety regulations, conduct safety training, and ensure that safety measures (such as protective equipment and protocols) are in place to protect workers.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that production processes and products comply with industry standards, safety regulation.
