: Position Title: Production Manager - Armouring and Motor Home Bus Company: JCBL Group Location: Lalru, India Overview: JCBL Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee the Armouring and Motor Home Bus manufacturing operations at our Lalru facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive manufacturing, particularly in armouring and motor home bus production processes. The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality armoured vehicles and motor home buses while adhering to safety, quality, and production targets. Responsibilities: 1. Manage and oversee the entire production process of armoured vehicles and motor home buses from raw material procurement to final product assembly. 2. Develop and implement production schedules and workflows to optimize manufacturing processes and meet production targets. 3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance to ensure smooth production operations. 4. Monitor production metrics such as output, efficiency, quality, and cost to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. 5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among production staff. 6. Implement and maintain quality control standards to deliver products that meet or exceed customer expectations. 7. Lead and motivate production teams to achieve performance targets and foster a culture of continuous improvement. 8. Collaborate with the R&D team to incorporate new technologies and innovations into the production process. 9. Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste. 10. Prepare regular reports and presentations on production performance, including KPIs, trends, and forecasts, for senior management review. Requirements: 1. Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Master\'s degree preferred. 2. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or supervisory role. 3. Proven track record of successfully managing production operations in the automotive industry, preferably in armoured vehicle or motor home bus manufacturing. 4. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies related to armoured vehicles and motor home buses. 5. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce. 6. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on continuous improvement. 7. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization. 8. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems for production planning and reporting. 9. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus. 10.
