Job Description

Job Role: Production- Line handling in Engine & Transmission Assembly



Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical



Any Other (Certification / Diploma etc.): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial engineering/ Automobile engineering



Job Responsibilities:

1. Managing team of minimum 15 person on shop floor and resolving their genuine concerns within short span of time.



2. Manpower Training and deployment according to their skill set



3. Training people for use of Machines, equipment and process knowledge.



4. Identifying areas of quality improvement and taking steps to correct & prevent the occurrence through FMEA.



5. Effective utilization of lean manufacturing process through 5S, 7 waste, kaizen, PDCA, 7QC, TAKT.



6. Maintaining safe and clean working environment through education to all cell members and motivating effective uses of all PPEs.



7. Develop and manage the plan to ensure no scrap and repair.



8. Solving the machine and equipment related issues by calling the maintaining persons.



9. Immediate communication to seniors for any issues regarding safety, quality and production.



10. Good Understanding of different engine testing process (leak Test, Cold Test, Hot Test) and testing facility.



11. Creating performance centric participation of all cell members and monitoring individual's performance to achieve departments goals.



12. Ability to manage multiple activity at a time on shop floor.



Competencies / Skills:

Functional/Technical:

1. Man power handling skill.



2. Domain knowledge of Engine & Transmission assembly & respective testing processes



3. Knowledge of process quality control parameters, techniques and troubleshooting.



4. Hands on production experience



5. Knowledge of 5S, Line balancing.



6. Analytical ability towards problem solving and fast execution.



7. Experienced at streamlining systems and operations to enhance productivity.



8. Awareness about ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001.



Behavioural:

Conflict management, interpersonal skills, Communication & presentation skills, Team player, Networking skills, Self descipline.



Excellent in multitasking and time management with ability to prioritize task.
