Job Description

Position : Produciton In-charge - MCB Manufacturing.
Qualification : BE / Diploma in Mech. or Electrical Engg.
Experience : 3-6 years in relevant function.

Job Responsibilities / Key Result Areas :
- Manage MCB Manufacturing line - Adherence to production schedule as per daily/ weekly / monthly plans.
- Adherence to quality standards and strive continuously for reduction in rejection and rework.
- Ensure compliance of production system and successful testing of MCBs as per STI IS/IEC 60898-1.
- Continually make efforts to improve processes with objective to improve quality & productivity.
- Maintain machines, fixtures and other assets in such a condition that assures quality and timely production.
- Ensure high efficiency of material utilization.
- Ensure good work environment, housekeeping by implementing 5S practice.
- Ensure adherence to safe practices and working conditions.
- On the job training of workmen and create multiskilled team.
- Publish necessary management reports.

Skills / Knowledge desired :
Working knowledge and skills on the followings is desirable.
- Through understanding of MCB mechanism.
- Knowledge of MCB quality defects control and solving skills.
- Thorough knowledge of MCB testing as per STI IS/IEC 60898-1
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques such as Kaizens, TPM, Poka-Yoke, 5S, Visual management will be advantageous.
- Working knowledge of MS office i.e. MS Word and MS Excel.
- Good at managing labour.
- Good leadership and communication skills.

ERP Knowledge (specific Modules) Planning and production module of an ERP system such as Tally or any other.

Industry should be from MCB manufacturing industry.
