Job Summary:
The Production Executive for the Candy/Gummy Department will be a key leader in our manufacturing operations, responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality tablet and capsule products. You will ensure adherence to rigorous quality standards, maintain strict hygiene protocols, and effectively manage a team to meet production goals. Your role will involve strategic production planning, equipment maintenance coordination, and comprehensive documentation management, all while ensuring full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Production Planning & Execution:

• ? Develop and execute production schedules that align with market demand, ensuring efficiency and timeliness.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize production processes for improved performance.

Hygiene & Safety Compliance:

• Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant production environment, maintaining strict adherence to health and safety standards.
• Regularly audit hygiene protocols and implement improvements as necessary.

Manpower Leadership & Development:

• ? Lead and mentor production teams, allocating resources effectively to meet production targets.
• Conduct regular training sessions to upskill the team, ensuring high performance and compliance with SOPs.

Technical Expertise in Manufacturing:

• Oversee the entire tablet and candy manufacturing process, including granulation, capsulation, compression, coating, and quality inspection.
• Apply best practices in manufacturing and packaging to ensure product quality and consistency.

Advanced Software & Documentation Management:

• Utilize pharma cloud software to streamline production management and ensure accurate, real-time documentation.
• Prepare, review, and submit Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Batch Packing Records (BPR) to IPQA for final approval.

Equipment Maintenance & Calibration:

• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure preventive maintenance of critical production equipment.
• Oversee periodic calibration and verification of all instruments and maintain detailed records.

Quality Control & SOP Adherence:

• Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for any quality issues, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Monitor environmental conditions in processing areas and ensure all activities are documented as per SOPs.

Operational Efficiency & Problem Solving:

• Investigate and resolve production-related issues, providing detailed reports to senior management.
• Initiate and manage maintenance memos for equipment breakdowns, ensuring quick and effective resolutions.

Regulatory Compliance & Continuous Improvement:

• Ensure all production activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Regularly review and update SOPs to reflect changes in regulations and industry best practices.

Training & Knowledge Transfer:

• Conduct ongoing training programs for workers, officers, and operators to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest production techniques and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive training records to ensure regulatory compliance and support continuous team development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in tablet and capsule manufacturing, with a strong understanding of granulation, capsulation, compression, coating, and inspection processes.
• Proficient in pharma cloud software and documentation management.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a proven track record of managing teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
