Educational Qualification: Master's/Bachelor's Mechanical Engineering.

Experience : Experience from Farm equipment's manufacturing company Mandatory

Production managers, coordinate and control manufacturing processes so that products are delivered on time. As a production manager, you'll make sure goods and services are produced safely, cost-effectively, and on time and that they meet the required quality standards.

The scope of the job depends on the nature of the production system. It's likely that you will be responsible for both human and material resources.

Responsibilities:

As a production manager, you'll oversee the production process and coordinate with designers & engineers for designs & production activities. You'll need to:

• Plan and draw up a production schedule with the resources available
• Decide on and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate
• Liaise with Design department ,Inventory team & Procurement teams, e.g. drawing, supplies (Collecting the required drawing from the design engineer & assisting the workers with the exact marking for cutting).
• Must have 3 years knowledge on Fabrication of machinery & Machine shop experience.
• Able to assist engineers for fabrication layouts & Machining components with assembly methods.
• Must have knowledge on Jigs & Fixtures.
• Able to Fabricate & Assembly with new developing methods.
• Control the manhours with process enhancement.
• Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
• Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs
• Select equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance
• Organize the repair of any damaged equipment
• Supervise and motivate a team of workers
• Review worker performance and identify training needs.

You'll be involved in the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage. A large part of the job is dealing with people and resource management. You may also be involved with product design.

Skills:

• 4-8 yrs of experience in Production as a manager handling team.
• Planning and organizing skills to be able to run and monitor the production process
• The capacity to grasp complex concepts easily (If required come up with the best solutions)
• Attention to details to ensure high levels of quality
• The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team
• The ability to work under pressure and multitask
• A results-driven approach to work
• The ability to work in a logical, systematic manner.
