Production Engineer - Furniture Factory

Location : Mayyanadu, Kollam
Experience : Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome.
Mandatory Requirements : 2-wheeler and valid driving license.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join our furniture manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will oversee production processes, manage the production team, and ensure quality and efficiency in operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the production team to maintain efficiency and quality.
• Monitor and manage production schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
• Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
• Maintain and enforce safety and quality standards across the production floor.
• Collaborate with other departments such as design, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to handle and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Basic knowledge of production processes and techniques (preferred but not mandatory).
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the dynamic production environment.
• Mandatory: A two-wheeler and a valid driving license for easy mobility within the factory and between facilities.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
