Production Engineer - FRP/ARP Business Runaya is a manufacturing entrepreneurial venture with vision to leverage state of art technology to focus on innovation, sustainability, and global best practices in manufacturing sector. At RPL we are manufacturing the telecommunication grade Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic Rods and Aramid reinforced rod for Optical Fibre cables. Operations in Silvassa with 2 million km per annum production capacity and an opportunity to increase our capacity many folds in next 2 years. Using the latest Ultra Violate lights Curing Pultrusion Technology, Thermal Process Technology and fully automated production lines. Partnered with Sterlite Technologies Limited, a Top 5 Global Manufacturer of Optical Fiber Cables, as an Anchor Customer, and for all Product Testing and Sample Approvals. We are looking for a Production Engineer with relevant experience and below roles and responsibilities. Roles and Responsibility 1. Preparing the daily/weekly/ monthly production plans for machine/line basis. 2. Release and issue the raw materials and consumables to production department. 3. Handle and control all types of dies and tooling\'s. 4. Plan and prioritize production to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay. 5. Ensure production requirements are met and products delivered to the customer without delay by drawing up procurement and production schedules to be followed on monthly or weekly or daily basis. 6. Interact with the marketing team to get monthly/quarterly/half yearly product demand data. 7. Work with raw materials purchase department in material planning and analysis to reduce inventory levels. 8. Plan, schedule and monitor material movement in production cycle to ensure continues operations. 9. Track material shortage and provide immediate resolution. 10. Assist raw materials purchase department in co coordinating and planning supplier deliveries. 11. Monitor inventory status and generate inventory reports. 12. Assist Marketing department in co coordinating and planning customer orders, deliveries and export container planning. 13. Develop process improvements for inventory, manufacturing, and production control systems. 14. Understanding and effective use of Automation, Digitalization, ERP for production and process control. 15. Track and record material consumption and scraps, i.e., product type and quantity, at each stage of manufacturing process 16. Track and record prices of different raw materials utilised in the manufacturing process. 17. Production monitoring, obtaining and presentation of all production data to management. 18. Checking, control and ensure on process parameters as per standard operating procedures. 19. Handling and solving process and quality-related issues with the manufacturing team. 20. Identify root cause and investigate permanent corrective actions for product, process quality issues.
