Production Engineer
Job Description
job details:
- Oversee installation of machinery and equipment, perform validation of the
Equipment and define Positive controls and calibrations.
- Can monitor and execute the production activities by deploying and ensuring
adherence of set engineering process norms
- Understanding engineering, scientific and other technical information (Circuits ...readings, PCB viewing and Mechanical drawing readings)
- Well versed with manufacturing practices
- Good understanding of customer expectations and deliverables with an awareness of
the impact of failure/cost of poor quality
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space
requirements and equipment layout
- Removing waste from the processes
- Organize plant start-up and shut-down schedules to ensure minimum loss of
production time
- Carry out FMEAs, (Failure Mode Effects Analysis) process documentation and
implement improvements
- Poka Yoke (error proofing) where possible to prevent errors
- Investigate production and process issues providing technical support and training Key Skills Required:
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication
- ISO knowledge
