About this Opportunity
We're looking for a Production Designer to work on packaging production design for Target's owned brands. You will be responsible for creating layouts, executing layout revisions, establishing toolkits or style guides as well as creating mock-ups & presentation decks for partner and leadership reviews, while ensuring quality and accuracy of work. There will be partners in MPLS with whom you will have to liaise, collaborate, and communicate with on a regular basis. You will manage all production design details to meet project deadlines and successfully integrate and balance working individually and within a team.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Having a strong understanding of packaging design and print production
• Collaborate within and outside of teams to understand project and business requirements and help translate them into effective solutions
• Organize and plan details for multiple projects and make timely and quick decisions to meet project deadlines
• Maintain and organize files and project materials
• The ability to see projects through from inception to production

Preferred Experience & Educational Profile
• Minimum 3 years at an Advertising/Design agency
• A completed 3/4-year college degree
• Strong portfolio demonstrating breadth of design capabilities, particularly in print & packaging design
• Understanding of all Adobe creative tools and experience with image compositing
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong printing & prepress knowledge
