• Job Overview:
• The Electronics Assembler is responsible for assembling electronic components and devices according to detailed work instructions, sop's, and schematics. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with small components using hand tools, soldering equipment, and other assembly machinery.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) or within devices, ensuring all parts are correctly placed and securely attached.
• Perform soldering and desoldering tasks to connect electronic components to PCBs, ensuring strong and reliable joints.
• Conduct visual inspections of assembled products to detect defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Use testing equipment to verify the functionality and performance of assembled electronic products.
• Identify and repair issues in malfunctioning products, replacing faulty components as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, test results, and any rework performed.
• Perform routine maintenance on assembly tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in soldering and using hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Basic understanding of electronic components and circuitry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electronic assemblies.
