Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Eurofins and functions as a Global Software Delivery Center exclusively catering to Eurofins Global IT business needs. The code shipped out of EITSI impacts the global network of Eurofins labs and services.

The primary focus at EITSI is to develop the next generation LIMS (Lab Information Management system), Customer portals, e-commerce solutions, ERP/CRM system, Mobile Apps & other B2B platforms for various Eurofins Laboratories and businesses. REPORTING TO : Manager

WORKING LOCATION : Chennai

eLIMS CP is based on ASP.NET CORE + Angular and now is implementing for IBL - CPT SLTH Labs globally.

The main objective of this position is to maintain system functions and provide daily support to business.

The candidate is expected to:

1. L2 Support to eLIMS CP software by oneself and together with the team.

2. Analysing the issues and resolving the same, proposing a workaround to maintain business continuity and ensuring minimum business downtime. Identifying the critical issues and taking prompt and effective actions spontaneously.

3. Discuss with users and prioritize the tickets or enhancement for application releases. Providing Weekly and Monthly incident reports to manager.

4. Communicate workarounds till the issue/work order gets complete/resolve. Raising issues to development team and working with them closely for permanent fixes.

5. Test the new features and functionality in application.

6. Collaborate with Story owners, business analysts, application architects, deployment team(s) to support fit-for-purpose functions.

7. Provide training and supporting documentation to end users

8. Develop working relationships within the wider Eurofins IT community and with internal customers.

9. Embrace Agile practices.

Personal Skills:

1. Very good English communication and interpersonal skills in an international environment.

2. 2+ years\' experience as L2 support engineer.

3. Self-motivated and driven to achieve professional success in client environment.

4. Willing to learn new technologies, processes and functional areas.

Initial Education Background:
1. Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in IT.
2. Software Development curriculum is preferred.

Technical knowledge:

1. Experience in MS SQL programming is preferred.

2. Experience with Visual Studio environment.

a) Proficient in using IDE, such as VS2017/2019 or VS Code.

b) Familiar with Source code management tool, such as TFS

3. Will be advantage to know following: -

a) ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core or C#.

b) HTML, JSON and Front-end MVC is a plus.

c) Front-end framework, such as Angular or React.
