Summary: What you need to know about the role- The Supply Chain Support Analyst plays a key role in optimizing supply chain processes and supporting the operations of the business. This role involves monitoring and reporting data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT purchasing, procurement operations, accounts payable and IT site support to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Meet our team This small team directs IT supply chain optimization and fulfilment methods globally including project focused work to improve end user equipment lead times and removing friction in processes. This role supports our tactical focus to monitor purchasing, order lifecycle and supplier engagement activities performed by our outsourced vendors, including any financial commitments they may represent on PayPal's behalf.

This role provides the opportunity to participate and gain experience in the management and monitoring of MSP (managed service provider/outsourced vendor), and demonstrate process improvements to improve PayPal's order lifecycle, supplier maintenance and IT fulfilment areas affecting our global workforce every day.
Your day to day
Day to day responsibilities:
• Reporting: Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory levels, order accuracy stats, lead time monitoring, and supplier performance metrics.
• Process Optimization: Assist in streamlining supply chain processes via approval requirements adherence and data-driven recommendations, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing service levels.
• Supplier Coordination: Support supplier risk management functions, such as contract review and assessment completion. Maintain supplier information database detail and contract expirations.
• Process Documentation: Document workflows, procedures, and systems to ensure consistency and support future improvements.
• Project Support: Assist in supply chain-related projects and initiatives, contributing to process improvements, system upgrades, and technology implementations.
• Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and optimizing inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimize excess stock, and prevent shortages.
What do you need to bring-
• 1-3 years of experience in a purchasing, supply chain, or operations support role
• Strong proficiency in Ariba is required. Advanced Excel skills is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
