Key responsibilities
Ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective ship management for the vessels under FMT responsibility.
Operation and maintenance of PMS (Planned Maintenance System), spare parts catalogue management standards with the objective to minimize downtime and overall cost for maintaining vessels, machinery and equipment.
Plan and execute Products in Technical and Procurement.
Efficient management of the processes for creating and updating maintenance plans and spare part catalogues for ML and MLL vessels.
Work with various departments on projects to optimize the use of Various modules in ERP.
Monitor the performance and functionality of Various Modules and Report failures and deficiencies to T&L IT and vendor for failure rectification.
Development of the Planned Maintenance, FER module of ERP through User Stories.
Testing of Features and Bug fixes to aid with Release management.
Develop and maintain SOP and Guidelines within the area of responsibility.
Responsible to ensure alignment in ML & MLL database for PMS and Article data Management including any kind of Data Migration and system support as done for ML.
Responsible for PMS and Order Management Training Material which includes identifying gaps in the material including the creation, review and update of PMS training Material for end users through Quick Reference Guide, Process Guide and Tips & Tricks
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of spare parts while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with technical teams to identify critical spare parts and establish appropriate stock levels.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards in spare parts handling and management.
Coding of Spare parts with all parameters to avoid ambiguity in the spare parts procurement process.
Monitor and analyze spare parts usage to predict spare parts consumption in the fleet to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Provide training and guidance to team members on spare parts coding and data management in the application.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the timely replacement of obsolete spare parts to avoid operational disruptions.
Provide comprehensive support in the overall management of systems and assist in the establishment of new applications.

This job will require skills like Technical, PMS management, Stock Management, QHSE & Data analytics.
• Marine Engineer with at least 5 years of experience or PMS systems
• Good understanding of Vessel Planned Maintenance system, QHSE, Surveys & Stock Management
• Experience & Knowledge in Data Analytics would be an added advantage
• Proactive attitude and social skills like being a team player, a good listener and having the ability to influence without authority.
• Flexibility to adjust to work timings as per the business requirements.
• Good Organizational and analytical skills
• Should be able to share knowledge & accept ideas
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package, Excel and Outlook in particular.
