POSITION DETAILS

Position Summary

The Product Specialist will be part of the Pumps EMEA and APAC product management team and be responsible to maintain and improve our existing product portfolio including its relevant sales enablement tools as well as support creating those for new product launches. He/she acts as a product expert for our products supporting the execution of our product strategy and roadmap as well as the related strategic initiatives in the overall company\'s 5-year strategic plan.

Principal Activities

• Portfolio Management: Maintains and improves our existing product portfolio closely together with the product manager. Supports new product launches. Recommends product adaptions, extensions or ready-to-serve activities including product certifications.
• Sales Enablement: Improves and creates sales enablement tools. Supports the improvement of SCPQ tools for our products. Creates and maintains technical product documentation.
• Data Analytics: Creates product related financial analytics including order, sales and margin development, establishes recommendations and executes counteractions. Drives and improves global product master data management and quality.
• Promotion and Price: Closely collaborates with Marketing Communications to create high quality marketing collateral communicating our value propositions. Supports in the definition of the overall Value-based Pricing strategy for the portfolio and creates price lists.
• Product Strategies and Roadmaps: Supports of the execution of our product strategy and roadmap as well as the related strategic initiatives in the overall company\'s 5-year strategic plan.
• Strategic Projects: Drives product portfolio related projects and works alongside with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance teams.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• An entrepreneurial mindset and results orientation
• Ability to collaborate in a global environment and work seamlessly across different global locations
• High level of problem-solving competence and very good analytical skills
• Very good MS Office Skills

• Great team player with self-initiative and independent working style
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1)

Education & Experience

• Technical Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent
• Min. 2-3 years of experience working in a B2B industrial equipment company
• Prior experience in Sales, Product Management, Engineering or a related function
