The primary objective of an engine Product Specialist - Engine is to ensure that the complete team is trained and engines are properly maintained, repaired, and restored to optimal performance levels.To succeed, you will need1. Product Specialist is responsible for providing quality after sales support to Regional Service team and the Customers on local and imported products.2. The incumbent should be able to impart training on Engines.3. He will be responsible for increasing Service Revenue through promotion of different service products like Service Agreements, Training etc.4. The position offers a stimulating challenge to the incumbent who would have to focus on a number of important aspects, some of which are enumerated in Mission below :

• Warranty Claims handling for APE products on pan India basis from HO.

• Warranty claim handling process with engine OEMs.

• Warranty Cost reimbursement from various PC and regular monitoring.

• Play an active role between PC & field service to get solutions for technical problems.

• Technical support to Sales & Marketing team.

• Training field engineers as well as dealer engineers for a high level of service competency. Tailor made training programs are also to be framed and conducted at both Dealer's & customers' premises for their operating & maintenance crew.

• Implement grading system of Service Engineers based on their Competency levels.

• Helping regions on technical & commercial side to sign or amend the service agreement (AMC) with customers.

• Responsible to keep all of our team aware of the safety news & service news as part of our product development activities.

• Creating & follow up for fixed price repair (FCR) jobs with regions to maximize the spare parts business along with service revenuexc2xb7

• Constructive feedback to PC on prototypes being sent for field trials and create rapport with the PC team.

• Helping Parts marketing & logistics on inventory management.

• On the site support for peculiar technical glitches & inspections.

• Assisting regions to conduct road show or service camp in the assigned market.

5.. Workshop Operations Management:

• Supervise the daily activities of the workshop, WIP and ensuring on time delivery of machines.

• Coordinate with technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.

• Prioritize work orders, and allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines.
