Design Insects is a creative agency focused on producing high-quality visual content for brands, specifically in the area of

product photography and videography

. We are seeking a talented

Product Photographer/Videographer

to join our team and help create visually compelling product imagery and videos that capture the essence of the brands we work with.

Key Responsibilities:

Capture stunning high-quality

product photos

,

lifestyle photos

and

videos

for e-commerce, catalogs, advertising, and other marketing materials. Ensure that all product images and videos highlight the unique features and details of each item. Collaborate with the creative team to plan and execute the visual direction for product shoots. Edit and retouch photos and videos to produce polished, final content that aligns with brand standards. Manage and organize all photo/video assets, ensuring they are properly archived and easily accessible. Maintain all photography and videography equipment, ensuring it's in top working condition for each shoot. Stay up-to-date with trends in product photography and videography to keep the content fresh and on-brand.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a

Product Photographer/Videographer

, with a portfolio showcasing product photography and videos. Proficiency in photography/videography equipment, including DSLR cameras, lighting, and sound equipment. Basic idea of post-production software such as

Adobe Photoshop

,

Lightroom

,

Premiere Pro

, and/or

Final Cut Pro

. Strong understanding of lighting techniques and composition for product shots. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring products are captured in the best possible way. Strong communication skills to work closely with clients or creative teams to understand visual requirements. A degree or certification in Photography, Film Production, or related field is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with shooting

360-degree product photography

or

product videos

. Familiarity with

studio lighting

and creating different setups for various types of products. Experience working with e-commerce platforms or preparing images/videos for online retail. Knowledge of product-specific photography trends (e.g., lifestyle shots, white background, etc.).
