The Team :

The Digital Technology Services Platforms & Tools (DTS P&T) is responsible for developing and managing tools enabling Service Management, Agile Execution, Project Portfolio Management, DevOps Tools and DTS BI (Business Intelligence), for all the S&P Global Divisions. The P&T team is spread across 5 major verticals as mentioned above and is responsible for managing close to 30 different Products in the above mentioned domains for the S&P Global Enterprise.

What's in it for you :

We are the DTS BI team who owns and maintains enterprise datasets in Microsoft Azure and transform them within Dremio for data consumption. As a DTS BI Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders from within DTS as well as partner with stakeholders from within divisions to showcase your ability to tackle multiple assignments with ease and gracefully absorb changes as they present themselves. Your insight into the agile scrum, best practices for managing agile execution in power Bi reporting and data engineering will prove invaluable for the execution of our strategy. Overall goal of the DTS BI team is to manage and provide cloud and infrastructure, ServiceNow, CMDB, service management, HR, Workday, tools etc. datasets and reports across the enterprise and knowledge around the data engineering and lake house concepts will prove to be valuable.



Responsibilities :

As the Product Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to work closely with the DTS ITBI team and play a key role in fulfilling our customer's requirements. Your main responsibility will be to convert these requests into actionable tasks on the ADO board, categorizing them as EPIC's, Features, and User Stories. By doing so, you will ensure that the team has a clear understanding of the tasks at hand and can work efficiently towards achieving our larger goals. Your expertise in communication will be invaluable as you collaborate with stakeholders from DS, acting as a central point of contact and facilitating effective communication between all parties involved. Additionally, you will have the chance to champion best practices and continuously improve our delivery methods, ensuring that we are always striving for excellence. In this role, you will take ownership of various areas, allowing you to make a significant impact on our team's success. Your dedication and attention to detail will ensure that all requests are well-documented and thoroughly understood by the team. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing the stakeholders, gathering their requirements and converting them into relevant tasks on the ADO board.



Some of the key responsibilities will be:

As the Product Manager, you will own and maintain the tasks on the ADO board, serving as the backlog for our team. Your role will involve creating, managing, and owning product plans, roadmaps, and backlogs, as well as crafting user stories in collaboration with the scrum team to implement new enhancements

You will work closely with stakeholders, you will prioritize their requests based on their needs and urgency, ensuring that they are addressed in sprint. You will also play a crucial role in laying out the roadmap and identifying tasks that align with its successful delivery.

Collaborating with a talented team of developers, data engineers, and Power BI developers, you will refine user stories and ensure that the team fully understands the requirements they are working on

After each sprint, you will actively participate in the retrospective, identifying areas for improvement and continuously measuring and enhancing project execution using the Agile Scrum methodology. Your dedication to excellence and continuous improvement will contribute significantly to our team's success



What We're Looking For :

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering or related area

3-5 years of relevant work experience in Product Management for Technical Products

Knowledgeable on the concepts of data engineering, data warehouse, Power BI and power platforms

Familiar with Agile methodology

Experience in Product Management with exposure to Power BI, Microsoft Azure, Dremio, SQL

Demonstrable experience in facilitating, leading, influencing, and managing within large-scale matrix, globally distributed organization

Proven willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and an ability to work in a fast-paced, high demand work environment.

Highly organized, independent and multitasker

Open to working flexible hours as per business needs



Preferred Qualifications :

SAFe Certification

Experience in the IT infrastructure sector preferred
