Job Description

The Role:The Product Team is seeking a Product Owner/Business Analyst focused on delivering a highly reliable and available accounting product to support the back office of Fund of funds and Family Offices, making investments into Hedge Funds and Private Equity funds as well as supporting capital and valuation tracking for Investors. The ideal candidate has tactical experience SaaS products and fund accounting data.Key Responsibilities

• Act as product owner with a dedicated development team
• Be expert on product feature, function, and data flows
• Manage day-to-day project deliverables with development team and liaise with product manager and client support teams
• Regularly engage with client and business stakeholders to support ongoing build out of client fee structures and issue resolution
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to enhance the product offering based on client requirements, alternative investment market evolution, and technology needs
• Prioritize issues and product enhancements together with client support and development
• Work directly with software engineers on Product-related issues/projects

Required Skills and Education

• 1-3 years of software experience as an analyst or similar function in close partnership with Product and Engineering
• Ability to manage Sprint cycles and ceremonies
• Familiar with Agile product development practices and JIRA software
• Previous experience supporting a fund accounting product
• Knowledgeable in technology, APIs, general ledger, trial balances, and accounting entries
• Familiarity with writing functional requirements
• Familiarity with MS SQL Server Management Studio and SQL statements
• Able to learn systems quickly and thoroughly and apply concepts comprehensively
• This position requires no customer travel
• 1+ years of experience as a business analysis
• 1+ years of experience in fund accounting
• 1+ years of experience with fund accounting software support
