  • Lead the DBA teams that provide technology support to employees across all business areas
  • Strong experience in either or both MySQL and DB2 UDB RDBMS
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor talent across the DBA Administration teams
  • Establish, develop, and nurture business relationships with both business partners and technology infrastructure partners to drive initiatives and solidify service operations best practices
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and prevent incidents for the future
  • Integrate procedures and services amongst ITSM processes to standardize documentation, improve analytics, and optimize operational efficiency
  • Develop procedures and dashboards to provide technology briefings to IT leaders and business partners on various forums
  • Management of Major and Severe business impacting incidents primarily involving large scale infrastructure issues or high risk data / application issues during the regular shift
  • Running both technical conference bridges and business update calls
  • Collating technical and business impact
  • Documenting issues, updating issues log, following issues to completion, and escalating issues to management team if needed
  • Driving decision making for incident resolution and minimizing impact to the business
  • Managing incident related communications and escalations to Senior IT Management
  • Providing incident updates to stakeholders
  • Capturing incident follow ups and aiding in formal problem management reviews
  • Identifying stability trends and escalating them through the Problem Management process

Qualifications:
Our Product Owner is responsible for establishing vision for an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) team. The Product Owner prioritizes and manages the health of the team backlog and contributes significantly to team quality. Product Owners are a key role in Enterprise Solution Delivery. Guardian has established an Enterprise Solution Delivery (ESD) organization to drive measurable, consistent, predictable portfolio delivery to accelerate and optimize value-add solutions for Guardians customers. In order to drive these outcomes, Guardian is seeking a multidimensional Agile leader experienced with the following: Requirement elicitation and analysis, Agile story writing, team level backlog management, decomposition, Journey & Story Mapping.

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Identify, communicate, and decompose business requirements into small, estimated, functional, vertical user stories that fit within a single iteration.
  • Define functional and non-functional requirements in the form of acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize and sequence stories to maximize business value delivered while maintaining a sustainable pace for the team.
  • Accept user stories as done throughout the iteration with multiple define-build-test cycles.
  • Works with Product Management Team to ensure vision, goals, and objectives are established and achieved.
  • Participate in team and Agile Release Train (ART) Agile Ceremonies
  • Apply an Agile mindset and behavior to effectively collaborate with the Agile Release Train (ART), team and stakeholder(s).
  • Leverage Agile estimation, forecasting and economic prioritization (WSJF) tools.
  • Make critical decisions regarding functionality and priority for the team with a focus on delivering value.
  • Use various tools including personas to guide design choices, empathy maps to help teams understand user needs, journey maps to describe customer experiences across the operational value stream & story maps to design workflows.
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile Values, Principles, and mindset with at least 5 years experience acting in a Product Owner or Product Manager role.

- Certified in Scaled Agile - SAFe\xc2\xae Product Owner (PO/PM)
  • Strong technical acumen and system thinking
  • Proficiency using Confluence, JIRA, Clarity, and Jira Align.
  • Consumer centric focus with experience managing user experience components.
  • An ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner.
  • Demonstrated track record in effective requirement elicitation and analysis.
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
  • Experience serving in an analytical role such as business or system analysis.
  • Self-driven with strong project management and organizational skills
