JOB DESCRIPTION JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Product Owner will assist in managing product roadmaps for Direct to Patient products. These products have both internal and external users and form a major foundational component in IQVIA\'s overall strategy to deliver insights to its customers. The role requires collaborating cross-functionally with clinical stakeholders, technology teams, offshore resources and third-party vendors. The Product Owner should have in-depth experience working with integrations (i.e. API, MuleSoft). RESPONSIBLITIES: . Contributes to a robust product roadmap that delivers incremental business value and leads to the achievement of well-defined Program Increment Objectives . Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for Direct to Patient platform integrations . Manage, elicit, prioritize requirements throughout program increments . Maintain Aha roadmap, Jira user stories and track product key performance metrics . Contributes to product strategy and evaluates trade-offs based on a firm grasp of business and market pressures . Applies the product owner toolbox driving a product-led approach to prioritization and solutioning . Leads product discovery work driving increased predictability and ROI for development work . Supports weekend product launches ASSIGNMENTS . Own a high-impact, internal product that supports both internal and external stakeholders . Demonstrate the ability to self-manage workload and perform responsibilities independently based on well-defined projects and time when projects are more ambiguous . Maintains the product vision and roadmap and support growth opportunities . Supports the product strategy by staying up to date on market trends and understanding the latest customer needs . Translates product roadmap features into product requirements including features, user stories and acceptance test criteria into a requirements management tool, such as Aha, Jira and TestRay . Prioritizes and translates high level requirements into detailed user stories that the development team can execute against . Acts as product expert for users, able to bring creative ad-hoc solutions to use cases . Monitors and evaluates product progress including outcomes of deliverables, and recommends additional improvements based on internal and customer feedback Supports in mitigating impediments to ensure successful completion of Release/Sprint Goals . Facilitate and/or participate in joint analysis and design sessions with developers to understand needs of the customer . Assist with process modeling to clarify business requirements, and to enhance or re-engineer business processes, prior to, or in parallel with, solution design and implementation, as necessary . Be a \'go to\' subject matter expert for IQVIA technology systems. Assist in knowledge transfer to other technical staff members of business data processes . Collaborate with developers and other analysts to ensure adherence to business requirements and customer needs . Triage user issues reported . Resolve conflicting end-user requirements . Follow IQVIA System Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) and Computer System Validation (CSV) procedures, as appropriate . As needed, review SDLC Development and Validation document(s) prior to authorization, to ensure that it incorporates previously captured requirements, and includes tests or test steps that explicitly address each identified user requirement . Collaborate with Global IT Solutions functional groups by adhering to established processes to ensure that business requirements are delivered through successful project implementation of optimal, cost-effective solutions REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: . Strong ability to communicate technical and data concepts to non-technical audiences, and business concepts to technical audiences . Strong analytical, organizational, verbal communication and business writing skills . Strong relationship building and facilitation skills to work directly with business users who are not technical in nature . Critical thinking abilities to take complex, ambiguous, abstract requirements and break them into smaller components, patterns, views and features . Strong oral and written communicator with a verifiable ability to apply critical thinking . Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) . Pharma, Clinical Research and/or healthcare experience within a regulated industry preferred, but not required Additional Information If you meet these requirements, please apply: Product Owner experience (4+ years) inclusive of business analysis experience and (2+ years) supporting platforms with Integrations . Understanding of Data flows pertaining to Data Lakes/ Warehouses, expert in performing Data Mapping exercise .
