As a Product Manager in Chase Card team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
• Assist the Product Owner/Area Product Owner to develop a strategic analysis approach and structure required to achieve key deliverables
• Facilitate sprint planning with stakeholder groups to drive alignment and visibility for which features will be built when. Ensure the delivery team understands the vision and direction for the Product/platform.
• Maintain the team software backlog of features and user stories and assist in determining sprint priorities aligned to larger experience journey priorities and vision with the FAS strategy. Drives the Product Backlog Review.
• Deliver new product enhancements and offerings by working directly with technology, business and operations partners, to define efforts, write requirements and assist in overall project management, risk management, and organizational readiness activities.
• Update leadership on the Epic and Feature delivery schedule including dependencies impacting deliverables, along with recommended solutions.
• Coordinates User Acceptance Testing and Business / Operations Readiness.
• Monitor systems production health and act swiftly when issues arise that may impact customer experience or the business.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Bachelor's Degree required
• 8+ years of experience in product management, information technology and/or Business Operations.
• 2+ years' industry experience in analyzing/building products with digital, modern technology stacks, including, API's, Microservices, public cloud, etc.
• Working knowledge of Credit Card issuing or acceptance, Card Operations/Service, IT and its supporting Lines of Businesses strongly preferred.
• Experience working in an Agile based product and software development environment (including utilizing Jira to manage product delivery).
• Experience working with a variety of technologies including mainframe, distributed and cloud based architectures and application design patterns that include a combination of vendor solutions and custom development.
• Prior work experience in managing or contributing toward application and technology modernization initiatives in a complex, established technology landscape.
