By integrating the technical and business worlds, you will collaborate cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by breaking down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

You could be working on innovative technologies, platforms, consumer-facing products, and/or enterprise systems as a Digital Lead at Syngenta.

Accountabilities

  • Accountable for designing, building and running products and features across Syngenta, with a focus on digital channels. The role covers a range of products, customer types and channels across Syngenta\'s India portfolio.
  • This involves being part of cross functional teams (composed of analysts, designers, scrum teams) across different locations operating in a lean agile product development environment.
  • Act as product owner for one or more products, designing and driving delivery for customer experiences that are intuitive and scalable across the globe.
  • Drive the creation of user journeys, data flows, process flows based on the client requirements - involves close interaction with the UI and UX developers
  • Manage the agile artefacts supporting the delivery work stream such as the epics, stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage new product feature requests and be willing to ask \'why\', as part of elicitation process to ensure benefits are understood while identifying any market specific logic to be implemented
  • Support the Product Lead through independent management of risks, issues and delivery timelines
  • Be able to define test cases and scenarios (regression and performance) with a view to supporting manual execution where required
  • Champion cross-pod collaboration, to ensure any dependencies (such as data sourcing) are on track for delivery, mitigating any risk to the client commitment
  • Build strong partnerships with Markets, Transformation and Technology teams to deliver at pace and create an environment where teams thrive, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all the right resources are aligned to ensure success, and everyone understands the priorities and end state vision of your product.
  • Use product management best practice to enable your product area to meet its OKRs (objectives and key results). You\'ll be accountable to help define KPIs for your product and will be responsible for the ongoing measurement and tracking of the metrics, with a view to identify opportunities to enhance, optimise and share best practices across markets.
  • Be a leader within the Digital Product Manager / Product Owner teams, including coaching, leading by example, sharing best practices and going the extra mile to support the ongoing development of a high performing team.
Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities
  • Have a focus on customer personalisation and engagement; identifying and owning initiatives to personalise the experience for your products, to drive deeper engagement and commercialisation.
  • Should have relevant experience working with cross-functional and offshore teams, helping the technical team build customer centric products by converting customer needs into functional requirements and user stories and writing respective BDD scenarios.
  • Experience leading on new product development and commercialisation, ideally with experience across digital and non-digital channels
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management, working with cross functional teams in an agile development process.
  • Working in large enterprise in similar role / matrixed environments
  • Passionate about customer experience and engagement
  • Strong strategy, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into technical requirement.
  • Strong thought leadership and influencing skills.

  • Be passionate about customers, both internal and external. You\'ll enjoy connecting with them, to understand their needs and working with them to design the best customer experiences.
  • You\'ll articulate a succinct product roadmap and vision to deliver on customer and business outcomes. You\'ll rally the teams and senior stakeholders to successfully deliver on your portfolio/product vision, understanding the important of a minimum viable product, whilst not losing sight of opportunities for journey and delivery optimisation as the product scales.
  • Ability to autonomously identify, prioritize and drive multiple initiatives
  • Ability to define a longer-term vision and build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve it
  • Self-Starter, being able to work independently and in a cross functional team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to support performing gap analysis, root cause analysis and dissecting client requirements, to ensure delivery of the most optimal solution
  • Confidence to ask questions and challenge in the right way to ensure the correct priorities are being delivered
  • Experience with the SaFe Agile methodology and expertise in creating user stories & acceptance criteria to ensure complete product backlogs are complete
