The Product & Data Science Team is part of Data Operations and operates at the point where our business and customer needs intersect. We design, develop, and implement cutting-edge solutions for some of Elsevier\'s key strategic projects. Our work provides cornerstone solutions that are developed in partnership with our technical teams and external parties, as part of initiatives that drive change, adaptation, and improvement to our customers\' journeys. Our team provides foundational data products that fuel Elsevier\'s Research Data Platform, building knowledge and wisdom. About the Role The Product Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle of products and services within the Data Operations portfolio. The key responsibilities of the role are to: Responsibilities Ensure timely and successful implementation of products that deliver outcomes for our business, based on a clear set of agreed requirements Consult with and direct software engineering teams (internal or external) in the integration and delivery of products and services Engagements with internal stakeholders and external partners to understand opportunities to enhance the value of our products to our business Design and deliver roadmaps that provide clarity, support customers, and desired business outcomes Deliver products through POC, MVP, and to production, working closely with Elsevier\'s technology teams, using modern agile methodologies and tools, to agreed deadlines Ensure outcomes are data driven, by using OKRs to think big, start small, and scaling fast To be successful, a Product Manager will need to: Possess strong intellectual curiosity and desire to proactively explore areas for product innovation that could add value to our organisation Have knowledge of relevant Product Management frameworks and the Software Development Lifecycle Support leadership teams in identification of new products and capabilities that support our aims and objectives Use their deep domain expertise to capture current and likely market trends, to identify new business use cases, all in the context of the wider publishing industry Have excellent stakeholder relationship and management skills Qualifications Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to explain complex products and services to non-experts and business stakeholders 4+ years of professional Product Management experience Work in a way that works for you We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization.
