SUMMARYProduct Managers are accountable for the functional solution delivery and perform duties such as requirement elicitation, reporting to management, assigning tasks, managing team members, and networking with clients. Along with this also acts as the system analyst/product owner for a project.Location - DelhiABOUT US -Wadhwani AI is a nonprofit institute building and deploying applied AI solutions to solve critical issues in public health, agriculture, education, and urban development in underserved communities in the global south. We collaborate with governments, social sector organizations, academic and research institutions, and domain experts to identify real-world problems, and develop practical AI solutions to tackle these issues with the aim of making a substantial positive impact.We have over 30+ AI projects supported by leading philanthropies such as Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID and Google.org. With a team of over 200 professionals, our expertise encompasses AI/ML research and innovation, software engineering, domain knowledge, design and user research.In the Press:SoleCultures page of Wadhwani AI -ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOversees the planning and execution of a SolutionsDecides on priorities in the project, and works with personnel from cross-functional teams to allocate resourcesIdentifies critical dependencies with external stakeholders and research/programs/products and ensures follow-throughChampion in the usage of Asana for managing timelines and to-dosActs as the scrum master across all projects.Works well with cross-functional teams to drive agenda items related to the delivery of softwareSupports the product/solution lead in areas of scheduling and prioritization.Translate functional business requirements into the functional product solution.This includes the data mapping specifications, interface specifications, process logic specifications, and appropriate tools to best represent processing.Ensure that the intent of the system is met when the system is created by working closely with the user community to foster rapid and meaningful adoption.Perform user acceptance testing to validate that the developed solution meets the requirements.REQUIREMENTSHas 5-10 years of total experienceAbility to work in resource-constrained and ambiguous environments to define prioritiesIs disciplined in execution and can implement good practices in software developmentClear and concise visual and written documentation skills to effectively communicate system enhancements to the development team.Basic knowledge of web technologies, conceptual database modeling, processing metaphors, and usage of systems among different communities.Results-driven self-starter who takes ownership of problems/tasks and sees them through to completion/resolution.Candidates should have a Bachelor\'s/Master\'s in Engineering Discipline or equivalent industry experience.We are committed to promoting diversity and the principle of equal employment opportunity for all our employees and encourage qualified candidates to apply irrespective of religion or belief, ethnic or social background, gender, gender identity, and disability.
