What We'll Bring:

The Advisor, Product Management - CRS Analytics Data Access Solutions will work closely with the product leaders of Global Credit Risk Analytics Enablement Solutions to define, develop, launch, and manage new products and capabilities within a growing, and strategically-important suite of TruIQ Analytics Enablement solutions. In this role you will own business product management for analytics-enabling capabilities to provide our B2B customers with fast, easy access to our credit data solutions. This high-visibility role will focus on managing one or more of our advanced analytics suite of solutions for our most analytically-sophisticated customers who consume the most data and have the most complex requirements. You will leverage your domain expertise in data engineering, data pipelines, data management and analytics to drive the business forward.




As part of the Global Solutions org, our team is responsible for the product success of TransUnion's industry-leading credit risk and advanced analytics solutions that help our customers make better risk-based decisions. We partner with the breadth of TransUnion's organization to develop and set our solution strategy, prioritization, go-to-market, sales, distribution and ensure our analytics data access solutions meet and exceed our customers' needs. Along with our partners, we are accountable for our solutions' performance, and ensure we remain within appropriate legal and regulatory boundaries, always keeping the end-consumer's needs in mind.

• Collaborate with the data engineer and data science community (both with our customers and internally at TU) to understand how to best drive excellent user experiences.
• Spend time with clients capturing VOC and applying design-thinking principles to understand their problems and needs.
• Develop and continuously refine target customer segmentation, user personas and use cases for our technologies enabling fast, easy access to our credit data.
• Develop data-driven strategic insights based on market assessments grounded in primary and secondary research.
• Partner with Technology and Engineering teams to review and approve product backlogs.
• Assist in designing and establishing a process for continuous improvement of our analytics suite of solutions, leveraging a data-driven, hypothesis-test-learn approach.
• Collaborate with Sales, Markets, Regions, Data Science, Global Technology, Marketing, and the broader Global Solutions Team to create and maintain business plans with clear and measurable targets while ensuring cohesive product offerings.
• Partner with international product leads to seek out unique points of view to deliver personalized solutions that reflect the needs of our global data science community.
• Gather competitive intelligence on an ongoing basis, monitor strategy and competitive response for key competitive solution sets.
• Develop and deliver senior level presentations to articulate business plans.
• Be accountable for the longer-term success and strategy for your products.

Impact You'll Make:

Job Qualifications:


• Deep technical understanding of cloud and on-prem data storage technologies spanning data warehouses, databases, data lakes, as well as data engineering topics (ETL, data pipelines, etc) - especially as they relate to the data analytics and data science community.
• Undergraduate degree in computer science, technology, engineering, or mathematics is required. MS or MBA or equivalent is a plus.
• Understanding of how data science and risk analytics teams (such as in financial services industries) work with data and have implemented data analytics software, platforms, and/or APIs in the risk analytics space.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience from one of the following areas preferred: risk management, B2B data analytics or data science technology, financial services, and/or other similar fields.
• Advanced knowledge of business and strategic product management: business case development; qualifying and quantifying the business value of an opportunity to determine where an organization should be focusing its resources.
• Experience working with technical product management and engineering teams to articulate the vision, use cases and user experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to take initiative and ownership and effectively leverage resources to successful outcomes without constant direction.
• Strong problem-solving skills: ability to break down complex problems into critical parts, identify the key causes and effectively prioritize and execute way forward.
• Proven ability to quickly grasp industry and business-wide concepts to assess implications to drive actions and to capitalize on opportunities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work across functions and levels of seniority.
• Fluency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel for presentations, documents, analysis, and planning
• Comfort operating in and delivering high-profile results in ambiguous environments.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
