To manage the entire portfolio of Cutting Tools for profitable growth of the business.:
Take complete ownership of the product line and devise its strategy to grow market share and profitability.
Collaborate and work closely with R&D and NPD teams to design and develop New Products.
Launch of new products with support from the marketing team.
Product Managers and the Strategic Alliances Team will work together to develop large account customers and coordinate activities such as plant visits, pricing, and presentations to secure business.
Work with the legal team on brand registration and combat counterfeit products in the market (both exports and domestic).
PMs should regularly gather market intelligence and provide updates on competitors\' performance, etc.
Work with the marketing and sales teams on packaging (including new packaging development), pricing, and promotional schemes to grow the business.
PMs will work with e-commerce teams to drive sales growth of their respective product lines in the e-commerce channel, both in India and abroad.
PM\'s and industrial Sales teams will work together on various Industrial applications to create new segments, trials at customer end for proving the products etc.
PMs will support sales and marketing in participating in exhibitions, trade shows, seminars, etc.
Work with the engineering team on capital expenditures (Capex) to propose and launch new product lines.
Work with the engineering team to drive cost-saving initiatives in the plant, including significant waste elimination and ensuring 100% sales of first, second, and third quality products..
Work with Sourcing to reduce input Cost including Packaging cost reduction.
Education Qualification &n Skills:
B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with an MBA.
Experience with cutting tools, abrasives, hand tools, construction tools, welding, etc.
5 to 15 years of relevant experience in the same field.
Experience and exposure in product management, sales, and marketing functions related to cutting tools.
Willingness to domestic travel (across India).
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Proficient in coordinating with the manufacturing and sales teams regarding product-related matters.
