Job Description


The Product Manager is the process owner for global activities linked to Cost control and Accounts Payable (CC&AP) to drive accurate reporting and ensure business processes are in place to cover business risks.
The Product Manager is responsible for the standardisation and optimisation of the global E2E process related costs encompass from PO creation to Payment of Vendors for all operational activities, as maintained by 8 Regional teams in GSC and Inter-brand teams.
The Product Manager proactively engages with global operations, finance, and procurement communities across various levels in HQ, OCL, and Area teams and is responsible for process design and optimisation. He/She, together with Platform Product Owner, defines IT requirements to enhance systems applications to ensure process gaps are covered and the system modernised.

Key Responsibilities

  • Global Business Process Owner for CC&AP processes and responsible for establishing global standard processes across all OCLs and Inter-brands.
  • Own the E2E global standard process mapping in ARIS. He/She owns the L4 and L5 process maps, both As-Is and To-Be.
  • Support IT developments through validating user stories that will enable a seamless E2E process to deliver a capable, automated and stable meaningful business process that supports the digitalisation roadmap.
  • Continuously identify successfully demonstrated best practices (SDP) internally or externally or improvement ideas and propose them as transformation initiatives to minimise potential risk to the business caused by process gaps or improve the existing process efficiency.
  • Responsible for maintaining key performance indicators and targets for the digitalisation roadmap and reviewing performance at agreed intervals with all regional teams that enable the digitalisation success.
  • Drive implementation of digitalisation as per the planned roadmap by collaborating with HQ, OCL/Area teams and GSC organisation by:
    • Owning one of the work-streams of the digitisation roadmap
    • Supporting execution teams (OCL/Area and GSC) with process-related queries

Skills required
  • E2E understanding of CC&AP Operational processes.
  • Relevant finance experience is beneficial, in either a functional or management capacity.
  • Maersk-trained or certified Yellow/Green Lean Six Sigma or external Lean Six Sigma is an added advantage.
  • A good understanding of the ARIS process map is an added advantage.
  • SAP experience beneficial in either Functional or Technical Expert capacity
  • Operational experience beneficial, in either execution or management capacity
