Product Manager About the Company SafEarth is a Software as a Service startup working in the renewable energy space. The company was started in the year 2017 with the aim of accelerating India\xe2\x80\x99s transition to clean energy. Our platform digitises the entire renewable energy journey of a customer looking to buy solar. From project conceptualisation to purchasing the solar plant and finally installation and maintenance, all of these can be done using our software. Through a partner vendor network, the company is looking to build the last mile connectivity for all the services required for the entire lifetime of a solar plant. Currently, the company is primarily working in the C&I space in projects above 300kW. Over the last 2 years, SafEarth has completed nearly 120MW of solar projects across India, including flagship customers such as Toyota, PepsiCo, Shyam Metallics, etc. SafEarth has over 100 vendors onboarded on its platform. These include some of the largest EPC companies and Project Developers in the country. In the next few years, SafEarth endeavours to become India\xe2\x80\x99s go to renewable energy platform and also help solve this problem for other upcoming solar markets. What is the Role? We are looking to hire the Founding Product Manager who will have complete ownership of the product development process moving forward. This role will include:

• Developing a keen sense of the customer, the problem and figuring out ways to solve the problems faced by the user
• Working closely with software development teams on defining, designing and delivering high-quality products; provide feedback on architecture, design, and priorities
• Interact with the design team to convert product requirements into actionable prototypes.
• Engage with teams across SafEarth to build your team\'s products and build relationships
• Help in developing and implementing product vision and strategy
• Closely work with engineering to flush out the product requirements into clear executable tasks with quick time-to-market and optimal resources

Must Haves?

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in software development in technical leadership, product management, program management, or similar roles.
• Solid technical background with experience in software architecture and design
• In-depth knowledge of Product/ Service Lifecycle (PLC) and product development.
• Familiarity in agile development framework or a similar tool
• Takes initiative. Doesn\'t wait to be asked. Plans efficiently while avoiding analysis paralysis
• Proactively filling communication gaps amongst all team members \xe2\x80\x93 We believe good communication solves half the problem
• Experience working with engineering teams to define, scope, and prioritize product requirements is a plus.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one\xe2\x80\x99s sleeves to get the job
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
• Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor communications to technical, business, and executive-level audiences.

Good to Have

• Understanding of the Clean Energy ecosystem, latest capabilities, and regulations would be a bonus
• 4+ years of hands-on product experience working on tech products
• Familiarity with product funnels, sprints & agile ways of working
• Strong sense of PRDs & documentation skills, with no compromise in clarity and depthAbility to derive data-driven insights to power input to products
• MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: 980,000.00 - 9100,000.00 per year Benefits:
