Product Manager
POSITION PURPOSE:
Own a significant portion of FarmRise application(s) product:

• Be responsible for one critical metric that determines FarmRise outcomes.
• Own and drive a domain vision within the entire product with the best practises in

product management.

• Drive execution along with program management prioritizing the right features for the

best ROI.

• Mentor other product managers to create excellent team work.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the driving the vision of the sub-domain within the product.
• Accountable for the strategy of a product line.
• Responsible for a high level metric target for FarmRise.
• Tracking performance of a metric along with early indicators and contributors.

Communicating the same with internal stakeholders.

• Empathize with our customers and deeply understand their pain points and diverse

points of view. Use this customer knowledge to define, test and refine new feature
concepts.

• Defining creative, high-quality roadmaps based on the product strategy and vision.
• Draft and maintain tight, but flexible product specs that speak to the various user groups

across the organization.

• Build lightweight prototypes to define product concepts.
• Owning a product outcome and its features end-to-end.
• Overseeing production for features throughout the feature development life-cycle and

live-operations.

• Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and

operational support load.

• Working with Engineering and UX Design teams to drive execution of product

improvement to deliver features.

• Own outcomes that are delivered through multi-team efforts.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelors in computer science/engineering (IT, electronics or information science), math

or statistics.

• Masters in business administration from a Tier 1 institute.
• 3+ years as a product manager in consumer internet space, preferably on web/app

based products. Overall 8+ years of experience in Product Management.

• Strong quantitative data analysis and critical thinking skills.
• Passion for solving complex problems in a simple way.
• Passion for diving deep in the data. Extra credit: SQL, and/or experience using usage

analytics to improve customer journey process.

• Proven track record of successful product component/area launches.
• Proven track record of developing features which drive adoption, retention, and

collaboration.

• Experience in driving high quality user experience and ability to build detailed

wireframes.

• Independence / the ability to drive towards a solution based on a defined problem.
• Collaborative style and ability to influence without authority is a must.
• Outstanding written/oral, organizational, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Good-to-have: Understanding of virtual economies, gamification, and viral adoption.
• Good-to-have: Experience in creating products for an audience who are entrants to the

mobile / internet space (non-tech audience).

• Good-to-have: Mobile and/or free-to-play games industry knowledge and experience.
• Good-to-have: Product management experience in a startup.
