The team works in an agile and collaborative way, with the stakeholders, customers, and developers, to deliver value and innovation to the market, as well as to contribute to the definition of the new airline platform, which will be the evolution of the current PSS, based on the One Order standards.The team of Product Managers for reservation and ticketing defines the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the booking and ticketing portfolio, which includes the reservation system, the ticketing system, the pricing engine, the inventory management, the payment gateway, and the ancillary services.The team of Product Managers for reservation and ticketing collaborates with the stakeholders, customers, and developers, to identify the market needs, the customer pain points, the business opportunities, and the technical feasibility, and to prioritize the product backlog, the user stories, and the acceptance criteria.The team of Product Managers for reservation and ticketing communicates the product value proposition, the product features, and the product benefits, to the internal and external audiences, and to solicit feedback, validation, and support.The team of Product Managers for reservation and ticketing monitors and analyzes the product performance, the customer satisfaction, the market trends, and the competitive landscape, and to measure the product outcomes, the product impact, and the product ROI.The team of Product Managers for reservation and ticketing participates in the definition of the new airline platform, which will be the evolution of the current PSS, based on the One Order standards, and to ensure the alignment of the booking and ticketing portfolio with the platform vision, architecture, and roadmap.About an ideal candidateWe are looking for an experienced Product Manager with in-depth knowledge of the reservation and ticketing areas in the airline domain.Role of a Product Manager: A product manager you will be tasked with defining, developing, and delivering products that satisfy both customer and business needs. You will collaborate with stakeholders, including business owners, customers, users, developers, designers, testers, and marketers, to understand problems, validate solutions, and prioritize product features. You will communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to ensure alignment with business goals and customer value.Airline Reservation and Ticketing area: As a product manager you must have advanced knowledge in the airline reservation and ticketing area, understand its business impact, and act as a reference for less experienced colleagues. You should facilitate decisions, anticipate dependencies, contribute to transversal projects, propose process improvements, and work independently within a guided plan. As product manager with airline reservation and ticketing, you will define and support the creation of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable products for airlines reservation and ticketing function. You must collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of strategies and initiatives for reservation and ticketing products and its integration with retail transformations.Product Manager in Agile Environment: In an agile environment, as product manager you will ensure the product development process is adaptive, collaborative, and customer centric. You work closely with agile teams to deliver the product incrementally and iteratively, based on customer and user feedback. You must embrace agile principles and values, such as customer collaboration, responding to change, delivering value, and empowering teams.Common Roles and Responsibilities: Common responsibilities include articulating value propositions, defining product strategy and vision, analyzing competitors, managing third-party partnerships, and supporting co-innovation with customers. Additionally, you will be required to manage the product roadmap, coordinate with R&D teams, manage budgets, participate in agile events, and ensure product readiness. As a Product manager you should identify market and business needs, define the product vision and roadmap, collaborate with Agile Release Trains (ARTs), and ensure the delivery of high-quality products. You will be required validates, and measure product outcomes and benefits using data and feedback and communicate the product vision and value proposition to stakeholders.Key AccountabilitiesProduct Vision, Roadmap and PositioningDefine, based on customer / market / competitive insights you will have gathered, the vision & strategy for your product and execute on that strategy to turn it into customer successAnalyze potential initiatives for implementing and/or developing new business processes based on new capabilities or product concepts.Measure and analyze customer satisfaction through informal and formal processes, defining corrective actions as needed.Audit, drive and champion process improvement for airlines and leveraging Order and data capabilities to automate or reduce manual work and provide quick to market deployment strategies to gain incremental revenuesDeployment, Go to Market and Product Performance AnalysisWork with Product Marketing to define a clear product positioning, value proposition and go to market plan and contribute to the creation of the sales collateral such as Product Overview, Sales Sheets, Demos, Tailored Customer PresentationsContribute to the responses of RFPs/RFIsGuarantee the accuracy and quality of the functional documentation and presentations for customers or internal teams.Manage customer expectations and lead customer centric clarifications, walkthroughs and scoping sessions; provide support and assistance to customers and internal teams.Coordinate and monitor business performance and establish a formal reporting structure, identifying trends, and areas for improvement in the product and the customer best practices.Product Design and DeliveryArticulate business requirements for current and future developments by understanding the market dynamics and trends taking input from regulatory entities, customers, and product marketing.Breakdown the work to be done into EPICs and features and work with Product Marketing to define Lean Business Cases for proposed developments and follow the progress from conception to delivery.Coordinate and work with the impacted Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and teams to define priorities and product-releasing plan for new capabilities.Bridge gaps within the company between teams of different expertise, most notably between other product-oriented teams, development, and commercially oriented teams.
